Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Series Crew Cab we're going to be doing a test fit on the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains, with a diamond pattern and square link, part number TC2533. Now we're going to be working with tire size 285-65-RFD. These Titan Snow Tire Chains feature a diamond pattern and square links, so they're going to offer us more tire coverage and superior traction on snow and ice. These chains feature an integrated tensioner, so it eliminates the needs from having to buy one. Also, you won't lose it because it's attached. They have a maximum speed rating of 30 miles per hour, and they come in a quantity of two.

Also is included is a nice carrying case so we can stow them when not in use. Now we'll show you how easy they are to install. To begin our test fit I've gone ahead and laid out the chain. We want to make sure there's no kinks, twists, or any tangles in it. You'll also want to be sure that the hooks, the open side is facing up away from our tire when installed. Now let's bring the cable around the backside of our tire, and we're going to stop when we get to the center.

Then we'll take our cable on each side of our tire, we're going to bring it up around the backside of the tire and connect it together. Once it's connected I'll grab ahold of the chain and start draping it over my tire. Here in the front we'll then take our green hook and one of our yellow links, and connect them together. Then we'll go up through our first red loop, and then our second one, then we'll stretch it out and connect it across. With one side being done we can go ahead and repeat the same process for the tire on the opposite side. Now it is a good idea to drive a short distance, stop, get out, and check to see if you need to make any adjustments.
