Welcome to my adventure channel, Old Southern Pine! We invite you to come along with us as we enjoy; tent camping, hammock camping, hot tenting, fishing, boating, sailing, new gear reviews, unboxings and many other outdoor adventures! More often than not, I’ll have my cohost, Fiona “the wonder westie” with me. Fiona is a rescue dog that’s half west highland terrier and half bichon frise. She was found abandoned on the side of a road when she was roughly 3 months old. Now, she’s living her best life and is my constant companion. She’s also a bit of a fashion diva so be sure to check out her outfits. As for myself, I’m just a guy that loves the outdoors. I was born and raised in Georgia and grew up, hunting, fishing, bushcrafting, camping, sailing and pretty much anything you could think to do in the great outdoors. I now live in Minnesota and the long, bitter cold winters are not at all something I’m used to but no one wants to put up with me being stuck inside for 9 months out of the year so we endeavor to persevere, brave the elements, bear, mosquitoes, Bigfoot, chupacabra, squirrel attacks and whatever else we encounter on our adventures. So sit back under the Old Southern Pine and see what this adventure holds.
