The sun as seen through the 304-Angstrom wavelength filter aboard the SDO AIA unit. From early November 10 through early November 12 (48 hours), this movie reveals some of the Sun's activities - flares and magnetic structures "playing". The bright eruptions from the active sunspot regions 1121 and 1123 are X-ray flare events (center of disc).
