► As concerns grow over soaring household bills - the Government has today set out its long awaited energy strategy. It aims to boost UK-based nuclear power and offshore wind - to avoid relying on oil and gas imports. The Prime Minister says it "tackles mistakes of the past" - and makes sure we're "well set for the future".
But critics say it's a "missed opportunity". They point out there's little mention of solar power and home insulation. And while the plan lays out ambitious targets for the next decade - it doesn't help people who are struggling right now.
