The most common question I get during the Q&A sections of my talks is, "How do I get more leads for my web design business?"
People are expecting me to say something about:
- How to use LinkedIn to discover leads
- How to run Google Ads or YouTube Ads to get leads
- Where to find better clients
- New ways to package and price web design
- etc.
These are all interesting topics but the truth is that all of that is just icing on the cake - not even that - they are the sprinkles on top of the icing on the cake.
The truth is, there is a massive overlap between your business life and your personal life when it comes to serving other people - assuming you're going to treat both areas of your life ethically and responsibly. So, if you need more leads for your business - or even if you need more friends in your personal life - this is what nobody ever talks about but makes all the difference.
