Normal life in Gadaposh village in Kuchinda area of Sambalpur distict was hit as villagers started observing a bandh in protest against death of a village boy allegedly due to ragging in his engineering college at Vishakhapatnam. The student identified as Shreyas Kesharawani had been undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Bhubaneswar since he was brought from Vishakhapatnam. He succumbed to his injuries last night. His body was brought to Gadaposh this morning.The villagers have demanded an inquiry into Shreyas death. The villagers have blocked the road. Police have rushed to the village to control the crowd.
