The Commander of Land Forces Lt. Gen Peter Elwelu has joined parliament, taking oath of office, to become one of the 10 army representatives.
However, he joined the 11th parliament amid a cloud of controversy, when he declared that he would deliberate the social well-being of Ugandans and the peace and stability of the country.
