Title: The Planck LFI instrument

The Low Frequency Instrument covered the long-wavelength part of the Planck survey with three frequency bands centered at 30, 44 and 70GHz. Prof. Marco Bersanelli, the Instrument Scientist of Planck-LFI, gave an overview of the instrument design geared to the advances in the understanding of noise properties and systematic effects made possible by the BeyondPlanck project.
