A small group of pacific white sided dolphins play with our ski and do some bow riding. This is how the dolphins greet us on most days and we most commonly see the bottle nose dolphins and the common dolphins. It Is always a treat to see this species! On this day, I was in search of sharks that were feeding on a dead Minke whale. However, with the thick fog most of the day, it was tough weather to spot things in. These dolphins surrounded my ski out of nowhere and joined me for a good hour before disappearing back into the blue. Cool encounter with some really playful dolphins!! They are so intelligent and are ways on the look out for a little bit of fun.
