Nice to see you again, my loyal subscribers and Elton John fans, sorry for the absence. I just couldn't think of which Elton John concert to upload, and I was also preparing for the Jump Up Tour debate! However, thanks to Adam "Elton Bootlegs", who suggested this great show, I have uploaded my first '90s EJ concert: part of The One Tour, live at Wembley Arena on June 28, 1992! The quality is very good, though on a few tracks you can hear the voice of a fellow concert-goer clearly (no big deal), and it is complete!
For this show, Elton's voice is in great shape, and he has a fantastic band, featuring the late Bob Birch and Guy Babylon, and also featuring some great female backup singers! He delivers great versions of Don't Let the Sun Go Down, I'm Still Standing (angry birds of course!) I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues (great instrumentals and vocals!), an excellent version of Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters 1 and 2, a great version of Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word, Sad Songs (featuring an extended intro with his backup singers), The Show Must Go On, Rocket Man, Saturday night's Alright, and an especially beautiful version of Sacrifice! This is a great show that no EJ fan should miss, and I hope you enjoy it!
Note: Elton dedicates The Show Must Go On to Ryan White, who was dying from AIDS, and Freddie Mercury as well. May they rest in peace.
