In this tutorial I will show you several different ways to paint Christmas lights. I'll also discuss concepts like wet in wet, wet on dry, dry brush, cool colors, warm colors, and more basics as I explain. I'll use salt to get textural effects of lights, gel pen, my push technique, wax resist with a crayon, line and wash otherwise known as ink and wash with a calligraphy pen, and more! Paint colorful Christmas lights or a more subdued look with these techniques!
