Hi! I'm Sophie D'Orléans and this is my travel VLOG! I went on a road trip to Gaspésie with my partner and we spent an evening in the Redford Gardens (Jardins de Métis). It was Elsie Reford's Summer home. She loved to spend time fishing on the Métis river! She started her gardens as a hobby in her 50's.
The creator of the Montréal Botanical Gardens took his inspiration from this trailblazer.
