Met a Namibia tourist at Singapore Botanic Gardens. He told me he was very surprised to spot so many resident and colourful birds here. He was referring to the Scarlet-backed flowerpecker and the Brown-throated sunbird after asking me the names. He shared that his friend told him he will not be able to spot any birds in Singapore. Perhaps, foreigners thought that Singapore being a concrete jungle, there will not be any wildlife.
Decided to bird watch for 2 days to see what I spot at Singapore Botanic Gardens, share it here, so anyone who wish to spot birds while visiting this tourist attraction, can have an idea.
By the way, migratory season between Oct to Mar are best time for bird watching in Singapore.
