Our freshly designed and manufactured, revolutionary lapping device, offers 3 core features:
1. lapping – allows you to precisely lap your IHS and CPU Dies with a resolution of 0.01mm
2. measuring - enables monitoring of your CPU die and IHS thickness with a resolution of 0.01mm,
simultaneously at 4 points (THESE MEASUREMENTS ARE VERY IMPORTANT FOR us TO FINISH
NCORE PROJECT)
3. is a keyring/ merchandise – a way of supporting what we at nudeCNC are trying to achieve
There are 2 types
Nlap IHS- to modify IHS
Nlap Die- has initially been created to become part of the Ncore project, although it can be used to lap a delidded CPUs if you are using the Nlap IHS as well

The bundle of IHS PLUS DIE Will allow you not only to even the contact surface between IHS and your cooler but also to decrease its height so the surface will be touching the die in 9900k model
We know that there is a gap there when you remove solder- Nlap IHS, allows for this gap to be modified, to the point that IHS touches the die on the entire contact surface.
The Nlap Die can also decrease the die thickness if you dare of course...
Having in mind the 9900k model is nearly 2 times thicker than ie 8700, you can remove a lot of material lapping the die, as it is made from silicone, its thermal conductivity is much smaller compared to copper.
