President Jacob Zuma says South Africa missed the opportunity in 1994 to implement radical socio-economic transformation programmes in order to achieve equal distribution of the country's economy. The President was speaking during the launch of the Truman Magubane Foundation. It assists underprivileged children from Pietermaritzburg and surrounding areas in education, sports, arts and culture. 75-year old Truman Magubane, who is the patron of the foundation served 15 years on Robben Island.
