The 2026 Volvo ES90 Revealed: The Secret Behind the Secret!
The most recent addition to Volvo's plan to have an all-electric vehicle portfolio by 2030 is the new ES90 electric car, set to be introduced in 2025. This puts the company right on target with its stated aim. As the carmaker transitions to an electric future, the new ES90 EV, a mid-size luxury vehicle, is expected to live alongside the existing S90. It will be based on the same powertrain as the EX90 electric SUV. Not surprisingly, it will use the same 111.0 kWh battery pack as the EX90. However, unlike the EX90, it might have either one or two motors, with the latter having the option to give all-wheel drive. We expect it to meet or surpass the 300-mile range promised for the EX90 SUV, even though it hasn't been officially confirmed. Reportedly.
Although the ES90 is a completely new model, it is highly likely that it will borrow heavily from the other Volvo models in terms of the design cues and features that set them apart. It is expected that the ES90 will be unveiled to the public in Volvo stores in late 2024 or early 2025.
The 2025 Volvo ES90 is expected to cost between $65,000 and $75,000, with the exact amount depending on the trim level and all the available extras.
This leads us to believe that there will be two single-motor models and two dual-motor trim levels available, all of which will have all-wheel drive. We will update this article with further information and a recommendation for the most favorable trim level as soon as we post price information and a complete study of the sedan's characteristics.
