Felted wool project: this tutorial shows how to use felted wool & basic jewellery techniques to create a unique, designer bracelet.
Here is the list of the materials I used:
- Felted wool stripes: 2mm thick for 2.30€ a piece & 5mm thick for 3.40€ a piece (1.5 meters long), from Modulor Material Total, in Berlin (also available in their online shop)
- An awl (to punch holes into the felted wool): 4€, from any sewing or jewelry-making webshop
- 3 jump rings (open rings) for each bracelet: diameter of 6mm, in plated silver, 1.20€ for 100 pieces, from any jewelry making webshop
- a closure of your choice: the one I used has 20mm x 14mm, silver color, 1.90€ for 5 pieces from any jewelry making webshop
- Glue
- Scissors
- 2 pliers (flat-ended or round-nosed) to bind the jump rings: 4€ each, from any jewelry making webshop
- Eventually a ruler & a sheet of paper.
Let me know if you have any questions about the process or the materials!
Take care & have fun!
Justine
