Data Mesh was born out of the need to address what traditional Master Data Management has failed to deliver – data that is ready for insight. Siloed business and IT teams, model conflicts across business concerns and difficulties in applying policies and governance have all contributed to an inherent inability to scale and deliver value to the business. Taking a domain-based approach to delivering data products is the right thing to do, but in practice an entirely federated data architecture is only suitable for the few. In this session you will learn how to capitalize on the benefits of more scalable and agile way of mastering your data, while avoiding the pitfalls of Data Mesh.
