Cameras arrived on the scene of a roadside bombing in Afghanistan while an S-U-V still burned.

It's one of the vehicles in a U-S embassy convoy that was traveling on a busy road in Kabul.
A spokesman for the embassy says several people were hurt -- one seriously. It's not clear if the explosion was set off by a suicide bomber.

The road is often targeted in bombings and rocket attacks. It leads from the embassy to a U-S base in Bagram.
An A-P reporter who witnessed the blast says two people in the convoy were treated on the scene.

Last month a suicide bomber killed 23 people with a blast outside the Bagram base while Vice President Cheney was visiting.
