Kia will showcase three new all-electric cars at CES 2024
The predominantly technology-focused vehicles will be built on an all-new platform dubbed 'PBV', which Kia aims to launch in 2025.
Kia will showcase three new all-electric cars at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) that will revolutionize the way personal and B2B mobility works, with production of the series set to begin in 2025. The 'PV1, 'PV5' and 'PV7' concepts will differ in size and target audience and feature a radical new platform called Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV).
The first of the three vehicles, the PV1, is the nimblest and smallest in the range and will focus on short-haul logistics, such as quick stops to drop off expired flowers to your loved one. It appears to be similar in size to small city cars such as the Toyota IQ.
The second vehicle, the PV5, will be showcased at CES in three different trim levels (Base, High Roof, and Van) and will likely be the most popular vehicle in the PBV series as it appears to have similar dimensions to a mid-size minivan. Like the Ford Transit Connect.
Finally, we have the PV7, which will be the largest of the three and will provide the largest cargo space and highest driving range. Early images don't show it to be much longer than the PV5, but it is slightly longer.
