Learn how to animate in Unreal Engine 5 from a former Pixar animator!
In this video I cover how many strafe animations you need, how to approach animating your character's strafe, and ways to incorporate appeal and clarity for the player. You will also need to download, buy, or code your own target lock system in order to transition to the strafe in the Animation Blueprint. There will be no demo for creating the strafe animations as I will be reusing my animations from The Pumpkin Knight. Shoot your own video reference and you'll be fine.
