Cyclone ‘Mandous’ wreaks havoc in Tamil Nadu. Normal life has been disrupted. 4 persons were killed, 151 houses damaged and 400 trees were uprooted. Cyclone ‘Mandous’ made landfall in Mamallapuram, Tamil Nadu on Dec 09. The cyclone which emerged from the Bay of Bengal resulted in heavy rainfall and strong winds in parts of coastal Tamil Nadu.
