The Beauty Room at Petworth is named after its series of late 17th century portraits of ladies at the court of William and Mary. Truncated in the early 1800s, both the paintings and the room are currently undergoing an exciting programme of restoration. Join Jeremy Howard and James Rothwell, Senior Curator at the National Trust, to hear why the Beauties "lost" their legs and how they are now being returned to their full glory, with two of them on display at TATE's current Baroque Britain exhibition.
