Full-scale experimental validation of a dual eccentrically braced frame with removable links.
The DUAREM project aims at validating through pseudo-dynamic testing the re-centering capability of dual structures with removable dissipative members, assessing overall seismic performance of dual eccentrically braced frames and obtaining information on the interaction between the steel frame and the reinforced concrete slab in the link region. Pre-test numerical simulations were performed to preliminary assess the response of the structure under different levels of the seismic input.
