1977 C3 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe
This example presented in “Classic White” with the 180 HP, L-48 V V-8 Engine. An optional 210 HP, L-82 was available.
Horsepower was greatly reduced beginning in the early 70’s. The young people of today don’t realize the limits we had back then due to emissions and safety standards.
They weren’t quick but they sure looked good!
49,213 Coupes were built in 77’. This was a record at the time as the most Corvettes sold in one model year. Only the 1979 and 1994 models will sell more going forward until the C8 was produced.
No Convertibles were made. 1975 was the last year of the convertible that started back in 1953. The production convertible wouldn’t return until 1986 under C4 styling.
