Officers responded to a Sheetz gas station in the 3400 block of S. Hamilton Rd. on Friday at 4:22 a.m. after report of a shooting, according to the Columbus Division of Police. Jared Porter, 23, was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to Mount Carmel East in critical condition. He was pronounced dead at 5:41 a.m.
