DJI released the Mavic Mini late in the year and for many of us, winter is already here or will be shortly. But with some extra precautions, you can safely fly your new Mavic Mini in the winter, snow, and cold temperatures. In this video, I have assembled some tips and information for new pilots who would like to fly the Mavic Mini in the winter on cold & snowy days. Being from Canada I have a lot of experience flying drones in the winter. I have also included some sample footage I filmed yesterday of my Mavic Mini flying with lots of snow on the ground and a -4 C day. Make sure you fly within the operating temperatures listed by DJI.
