Today is an adventure to 5 places that fit perfectly into a day trip. Arriving by boat on the Chao Prao River gives this trip a nice extra touch. The scenery is more brilliant than you can imagine. If you would like to take a similar day trip, I would advise on beginning your trip around 11am-12pm. This will allow you to visit each place before they close and make it to Chinatown at sunset for your feast. Feel free to reach out for additional tips.
Our five destinations are:
#1 - Wat Prakeaw - Home of the Emerald Buddha, this complex of stunning architecture will awe you with gold opulence.
#2 - Grand Palace - Conveniently located in the same complex as Wat Prakeaw, you will end your tour in the presence of a royal vibe.
#3 - Wat Pho - Take a short 10-minute walk south to one of the oldest Wats (temples) in Bangkok. The Reclining Buddha will leave you with an uplifting spirit.
#4 - Wat Arun - Cross the street of Wat Pho to Pier 8 and hop on a 12 cent ferry ride across the river to another amazing Wat.
#5 - Chinatown - Historic and delicious, we hop on our final ferry ride to get to our destination for a mouth watering street food dine around.
