Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this classic 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS. For 1964, the Impala was slightly restyled, reverting to a more rounded, softer look. The signature taillight assembly had an "upside-down U" shaped aluminum trim strip above the taillights, but the individual lights were surrounded by a body-colored panel. This American, steel machine is powered by a 327-cubic inch small block Chevy V8 engine. With a dual exhaust that will take you back in time, you rumble down the road with a rhythmic rap and burble. Backing the epic bowtie engine is a 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. 1964 was the first year for the third generation Impala. This car is solid and in lovely driver quality condition. The Black exterior is complimented by polished factory style trim. The interior is in very good condition and is correct with black vinyl bucket seats and an original center console. The sport buckets up front beg to be sat in and hug the center console and shifter nicely. Needless to say, this is a very well maintained/restored classic that gives you a reason to go cruising on Friday night. Let the stresses of the work week dissolve away, hearing the exhaust purr, we assure you, it won't take long. Options on this 1964 Chevy Impala SS for sale include: AM/FM radio, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, radial tires, tilt wheel, white walls and rally wheels.
