The Brattleboro Retreat tower was built in the mid 1800’s by patients of the retreat. At one point patients were able to climb the tower to it’s top and take in the sights from high above the trees. But when they started jumping from it’s it’s spire, it was closed down. Now, when the night is dark and the moon is full, the ghastly figure of a woman can be seen leaping from the towers top and disappearing before it strikes the ground.
