♥Frequent GITD (Glow in the Dark) polymer clay FAQs♥
♥Where can I get this EXACT kit?
I haven't seen it for awhile, and I got this from a friend a couple years ago, but Amazon has what seems to be this kit (but I'm not 100% sure):

♥Where can I get it?
Michaels, Joanns, and any other craft stores that carry polymer clays will usually have GITD clays. FIMO, Sculpey III are common brands that produce GITD clay
♥Can I mix glow in the dark polymer clay with other polymer clay colors?
Yes, but only a little bit (less than 1/8 of the amount of how much GITD clay you're using) of the opaque colors. However, you can use translucent clay in varying amounts to dullen the intensity of the GITD clay
♥What "charges" the GITD clay?
Sunlight, regular LED lights (or whatever light is powering your ceiling/desk lamps) will charge your GITD clay!
♥How long do I need to set it under the light?
For Sculpey GITD clays, a few seconds will do! If you want the glow to be more intense, I would recommend 10-15 seconds. You can set it under light for more, but the intensity will be the same at 15 seconds and at 60 seconds (in my opinion and depending on the light).
♥ Do I need to put my clay ON the light?
No, you should be at least an inch away from the bulb, don't allow the clay to touch your bulb. While it's unlikely the clay will burn from the light in such a short amount of time, the bulb can be hot and can hurt you.
♥ Does the glow run out?
After it's been out of light for awhile, it will dim out. But, you can recharge it for it to glow again
♥Will you do more GITD videos?
I plan to do more reviews and more tutorials in the future, yep!
