The install instructions from Evotech are pretty straight forward and simple. After watching a few videos here on YouTube everybody seems to say you have to put the bike on a stand and brace the motor before pulling the stock bolt out because the motor will drop about 2 mm. I did not want to go out and spend even more money on another rear spendel or an expensive ducati stand and things like that. I ended up just taking the nut off of the stock bolt using the Evotech bolt and tapping the stock bolt through with a rubber mallet and it went through perfectly fine there was no resistance I even pulled the Evotech one out a couple of times. Just so you know you don't have to brace the motor or put the bike on a stand.
