Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth - The Seventh Seal (Brutal VR Combat Challenge Walkthrough) on Hard difficulty, played on the PS5 Pro in Versatility mode (60fps). This Brutal VR challenge (from Chadley) is unlocked after you defeat Gilgamesh and the Protorelic Phenomena quest line. Beating all of these challenges will unlock the Virtually Renowned trophy, as well as unlock a key item treasure for Johnny, to unlock the 7-Star Hotel trophy.

This challenge is pretty easy -- just basically Sleep and Stop the enemies. However, expect for your plans to be ruined in some way, so you will have to be good at improvising. There's also not a lot of room for error, and if you mess up the timing of something, or take too long, your entire run could be in jeopardy.

You don't have to use my exact equipment setup, since you may want to work up to each Round and it helps to have Raise materia if you really need it. There is also another strategy to have Graviga materia, which can work well on the Cactuars in Round 9, but you want to use that after a Synergy Ability that gives unlimited MP, due to the high MP cost. You could also try another strategy of having Elemental + Fire on your teammates armor, since a few of the enemies use fire (Dragon, Irasceros, Gigant Bomb, Diabolic Variant, and Ember Zu).

R2: Cast Sleep on Burt, and apply debuffs. You can destroy him in one cast of Fira, but you need to beware of crossfire that could wake him up (because Kid G moves fast.)

R8: I mentioned an advanced tactic of Ally Re-Positioning (or Teleportation) in my Bahamut Arisen video description. If you are not good at perfect blocking Bahamut's Crush Grip, you could teleport away using a Synergy Skill. That is what I used here to avoid the Gigaworm's Swallow attack. You MUST wait until Gigaworm is in the air or it will be too early, and you must know your party order well enough to do this on reaction. Gigaworm will use this Swallow attack before it Ingests the rock needed to pressure it. Also, do not just spam Attack mindlessly, because Gigaworm will disappear and you'll end up attacking a sleeping Dark Claw.

R9: You can try to wait until it does Needle Rain, before casting Stop (to maintain Pressure state), but it's risky.

R10: Take out Ember Zu quickly, before the nightmare that is Enshadow from Diabolic Variant. This part of the challenge is where all your plans go out the window, and you must make important decisions on the fly. Get good at blocking Firaga magic, or have Elemental + Fire on armor. This won't matter if you don't finish the DV's quickly, though, so Stop them.
