It's been a while since I visited Glaramara and Allen Crags. Situated near the hamlet of Seathwaite, in the Borrowdale Valley, Glaramara is a steep climb - but it's worth it! The views from the climb, and on the summit are outstanding, and a big reward for the effort it takes to get up there.
The forecast was for a cold day with broken cloud, and it was very accurate.
We were treated to some spectacular conditions, with low cloud and mist, then superb light once the cloud cover broke.
