The World Health Organisation is launching a mass vaccination campaign against yellow fever in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The virus has spread into the DRC from Angola. The campaign aims to immunize about 15.5 million people in both countries. So far, the DRC has recorded 1300 suspected cases. Only 68 have been confirmed -- most of them from Angola. Since December, at least 355 people have died from yellow fever in Angola. In Kinshasa, health workers have been encouraging locals to be vaccinated.
