When we calculate your Chapter 13 plan payment, we look at your budget to arrive at a figure representing your "disposable income." Chapter 13 law says that you must submit your disposable income to the Chapter 13 trustee each month.
Sometimes, however, expenses change, income goes down or both. If this happens, we can file a post petition amendment to your confirmed Chapter 13 plan. Included with this amendment must be documentation showing why we are asking for a reduction.
