This video is of the kidnappers cave in Dragon Quest V on the SNES. The cave is northeast of Reinhart and is where the kidnappers have taken Prince Henry. Papas and the young hero have followed them to the cave.
After making his way into the cave, the hero meets up with Papas and is able to free Henry from his cell. However, they are then attacked and Papas stays behind to fight. The boys flee the cave, but are stopped at the entrance by Gema (Ladja in DS remake).
The battle with Gema is un-winnable, resulting in the defeat of the boy and Borongo. Papas arrives and is assaulted by 2 other monsters which he easily subdues. However, Gema then threatens the boy and Papas must standby until his is killed by Gema's guards.
Gema then releases Borongo into the wild and takes the 2 boys hostage. The 2 are sold into slavery and the first phase of the game ends.
