This video takes a closer look at complex power in AC circuits and the physical significance of S = P +. jQ and the power factor. We also cover how to correct the power factor in lagging circuits by adding a parallel capacitor. Finally, we revisit the maximum power transfer theorem for AC circuits. We complete several examples during the lecture to help practice these topics. I highly recommend following along with pencil and paper to get comfortable with these topics.
