If you don't know what this is, "The World of Cars Online" was a massive multiplayer online (MMO) video game launched by Disney in Open Beta in 2010. The game placed you inside of the town of Radiator Springs and allowed you to earn cosmetics, chat with the townsfolk, and race other players online. The game would later be shut down in February 2012, less than 2 years after launch, making the game unplayable... until now.
Today, for the first time since 2012, we have NEW gameplay of "The World of Cars Online" thanks to the wonderful Ghosty Tongue and the people at Sunrise Games! Thanks to Ghosty providing Sunrise with the client source code and all of the inner workings, the game has been resurrected from the dead and is now playable for the first time in 12 years! So, I have thrown together this little playthrough video of the newly revived "World of Cars Online"! Did you ever play it when it first came out? Let me know!
