I wrote this song#Advocating for the Hmong sisters in our community in the representation of Mental Health Awareness Month and for #HmongWomanLead. Many women have walked this path and share similar struggles and challenges. Although we have our own stories, I hope that we can encourage each other to advocate for one another by creating a safe space to speak on our traumas and experiences without judgment.
Today, they are those who are still searching for the strengths in their voices to be heard. Those who have or are currently battling mental, emotional, verbal, and or physical abuse and those who are in search of their own identity. No matter what obstacles you are facing today or in the past, I hope you find the strength in yourself to overcome them.
Don't forget to take care of your mental health and well-being as we are all on a continuous journey of self-love and healing Through our experiences I hope we can grow stronger together from sharing our stories.
