Project 50
Have you ever wondered how people in the top 1% are there? How did they do it? We have the same 24 hours, same brains yet their lives are different why? The answer is simple their lifestyle- how they chose to live their life is the only thing that makes them different from the 99%
If you want to be in the top 1% this project 50 can be something you need to consider, coz this is a lifestyle change which is bound to take you into that top 1%. I read about this challenge sometime in the last few months, it's all over social media but im not on any social media platforms so i recently discovered this. And what best time to takke up a challenge like this? When im trying to reset for the new year? Feel free to join in with me!
The rules
There are 7 rules to this challenge but the general rule is if you fail even one day , you have start at day 1 again! Thats the hardest so dont miss a day!
Rule 1: wake up before 8am
This is something i struggle with, i can never wake up before 8 consistently. I do wake up sometimes, but even though i want to do it everyday i fail to. So im hoping to make this a part of my morning routine through this challenge. Do you struggle wakking up before 8 and find that you dont have anything to do so go back to sleep ? so then thats why there is rule 2
Rule 2: do your morning routine for an hour without distractions- no phones no music!
Morning routine - i didn't have one for a long time- not this long one- so time to start having one- i usually do some prayer and get to making breakfast, shower and work! So it's time to form a routine that will actually make sense! The rule is to do the morning routine without any distractions- no phones, no music, no podcasts! Do this one hour morning routine religiously everyday for 50 days and it will last a lifetime! So start planning now- what are you going to include in your one hour morning routine?
Rule 3: exercise for 1 hour daily
It can be anything, you don't have to join the gym right away but do some walking, dance, running or yoga anything that suits your fitness level for 1 hour everyday. I always plan to run but I end up walking, so maybe this time i'm gonna do it for real! So start planning your 1 hour exercise routine!
Rule 4: read 10 pages everyday
Reading is something which will open up your mind, help you with your concentration levels and it will also make you knowledgeable and wise. Let's face it! we all have books lying around the house but we are too busy to read- i started reading consistently from last year and it changed the way I spend my time. I do want to read more- start reading 10 pages everyday.
Rule 5: dedicate 1 hour towards a new skill

When we stop learning that is when we stop evolving as a person. To become something and to be in the top 1% you should never stop learning. So start with something you long wanted to do but had no time or thought you had no time for! Make time for it in these 50 days. Pick something which will give you joy , you are passionate about!
Rule 6: follow a healthy diet- now this doesnt have to be extreme! But eating healthy is going to change your physical health and mental healht too, so choose foods which will help you with that. So i tend to eat a lot of refined foods everyday and i want to get rid of that or in fact have a balance in what i eat, getting all the nutrients i need while enjoying my food. So make yourself a healthy diet chart to list out what you are going to exclude from your diet and what you are going to include!
Rule 7: track your progress in a journal
The positive and negative effects of the challenge, your feelings, improvement and track your progress using this journal.
