India, a nation which is known for its rich cultural heritage with Unity in diversity. A nation where different cultures blend like colors in a rainbow. Ganesh Chaturthi is one such eve which is a mixture of tradition and exists a patriotism in the rise of this festival. Yes! There is Patriotic history for this festival.

Before Independence, Britishers has banned public meetings of Indians to stop revolutions against them. In search of solution for gatherings, Our leaders had found that there is Chavithi in every month with regardance of Puranas.

With the help of preists our freedom fighters had taken permission from British government for the celebration of Vinayakotsav for Chavithi, During which unofficial patriotic plans ran secretly.

Later, India got Independence and periodically Vinayaka Chavithi had became a part in our culture and started celebrating Vinayakostav in a grand scale for 9 days once in a year, as the mark of uniting people.

Lastly, use only clay idols for pooja and save ourselves by saving environment, this time, not from Britishers.
