Tankwa is a super arid park in South Africa with stunning vistas. With pure desert in the west with dust devils swirling, open grasslands in the centre with antelope grazing, and the Roggeveld Mountains in the east with views overlooking the rest.
We stayed at the informal campsite, Pyper se Boom, the closest person to us was kilometers away. We got absolutely buffeted by the wind, it was non stop blowing us all around.
