Lure fishing for Chub, Perch and Pike on Crankbaits in flooded rivers in the UK. In this video I experiment with the Salmo Rattling Hornet in impossible conditions to try and combat very coloured flood water. Many would use bait in this situation but I stick to lures and decide to think outside the box and try something different. I typically use soft plastic lures on Jig Heads but I wanted to try something with a rattle and a classic style Chub lure, as I've noticed that a number of big Chub are failing to our lures during February and March each year.

Everything is against us but we do manage to land a fantastic Chub and a few Pike.
