I found the Bay Rum vegan shaving soap to be a very good soap in the vegan soap category.
The scent was up front and nice and the lather was easy to produce.
The lather was typical of a vegan soap with not a lot of staying power and is best used by lathering a part of your face each time, shave and repeat.
I guess the ingredients were typical of vegan soaps but the adding of Australian Red Clay to the mix was a nice touch and I assume that was what gave the soap it's red ochre colour.
Maybe Soapera could re-jig their marketing for this soap and go with a Northern Australia theme with the red clay - native Australian limes and rum which played a huge part with the early history of the colonies and of course our rum culture with Bundaberg Rum.

The vintage Gillette Aristocrat Razor Blade was once again amazing with no nicks, cuts or razor burn - just a BBS shave. What more could a man want?
