Welcome to a bonus episode of Trutalk, my limited series about The Truman Show (1998). Although I guess this one is more of an Edtalk, a one-shot about EDtv...

Trutalk, a Truman Show podcast - Episode 7
During lockdown I crossed a project off my bucket list, a film nerd podcast all about my favourite film, The Truman Show (1998) directed by Peter Wier.
In this newly recorded bonus episode, we dive into a film called EDtv which came out in 1999, one year after The Truman Show. While on its face EDtv might seem similar, there are a lot of things that make it VERY different. Chief among them, it's sense of humour... It's also based on a French-Canadian film called Louis 19, King of the Airwaves (1994), which we talk about in depth as well.
(It should go without saying, but this video contains major spoilers for both.)
And hey, since you made it this far, please consider donating to my favourite charity Great Ormond Street Hospital: [ Ссылка ]
