Tim Allen has previewed the next animated feature, Toy Story 5.
While complimenting the script for the next animated picture, Allen told Collider, "I just did the first five-hour session for Buzz, probably a week ago."
The 71-year-old actor, who is reprising his role as Buzz Lightyear in the film, admits that it's strange to return.
"This is a pretty clever narrative. Do you want do five of them [movies]? "I don't really believe it's about the money," the Santa Clauses actor stated, adding, "I'm sure they want it to be successful, but that's not why they did it."
Allen went on to say, "If they hadn't written a fantastic story, they wouldn't have done it, and they wouldn't have contacted me and Tom [Hanks]. "It's very clever."
The actor also discussed getting emotional for the film, admitting that it might be difficult to get back into character.
"It was really a struggle to get, and then maybe two hours in, I was doing Buzz," Allen recounted. He continued, "I'm so blessed to be Buzz Lightyear, to be honest."
Before closing, Tim Allen stated, "It's going to be enjoyable. I believe we're about a year out. I've gotten to the third act. We will do the third act. Then we'll go back and clean it. And then I'll repeat it approximately five times. It's a great story, folks. It's quite excellent."
