Ingredients:
• Spinach 2 bunches
• Ghee/butter 2 tbsp
• Cumin seeds 1 tsp
• Crushed coriander seeds 1 tsp
• Onions 3
• Gram flour(besan) 1 tbsp
• Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
• Green chillies 3-4
• Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
• Garam masala 1/2 tsp
• Kasoori methi 1 tsp
• Salt as per taste
# Another Tempering (Tadka)
• Ghee 1 tbsp
• Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
• Dry red chillies 2-3
• Garlic cloves, sliced 12-13
• White Sesame seeds 1tsp
Method:- Blanch the spinach & grind to make a fine puree by adding little water. Heat ghee/butter in a kadai. Add cumin seeds & crushed coriander seeds. Add finely chopped onions, garlic & saute till they turn translucent. Add green chillies, gram flour & turmeric powder. Cook they turn light golden brown. Add blanched spinach puree, water, salt, garam masala & kasoori methi. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
Take a small pan , add ghee, cumin seeds, dry red chillies & garlic slices . Cook till it turns light golden. Add sesame seeds , mix well & pour over the Lasooni Palak. Mix well& cook for another one minute. Lasooni Palak is ready to serve.
