Help! I Can't Install .Net 3.5 on Server 2016.
This happened to me this week. The database person asks me to install .Net, so he can install SQL, so I can install Azure AD Connect. But, I'm the Active Directory / Azure AD person, not a server administrator. I spent some time Binging this, but my search terms were bad at first. Finally I found the solution and it is much easier than I thought. This is an issue that seems to have started with Server 2012 at some point. Having not been in a position where I would encounter this before, it is new to me. Hope this helps someone in a similar situation. Thanks.
