Continuing on from the previous part, I start a new day after letting my digimon sleep.
Before heading out, I talk to various digimon in Floatia, and stock up on daily supplies. (I also get the first tamer skill that increases inventory space.)
Rather than heading back to the server desert, I instead go to a different area of nigh plains to get another digimon to join the city.
The digimonn in question is Kabuterimon.
Unlike Kuwagamon, who just wanted some royal digijelly, Kabuterimon wants to battle us.
And so after a fairly short battle, Kabuterimon, impressed with the strength of my digimon, decides to join the city to train to become stronger.
With that battle out of the way, I make my way back to server desert, and go down the correct path to get to logic volcano.
But while on this path, a Garudamon shows up to tell us off for trying to take resources from his territory!
Despite getting out of a fight with him by apologising at first, I make the mistake of not doing that the second time I talk to him!
As a result, my digimon get their asses kicked in a one sided battle! (The difficulty level between digivolutions is pretty big!)
Luckily for me and my digimon, I return to the city without either digimon being injured! (Jijimon talking about Kabuterimon returning to the city might have prevented that from happening some how!)
With my digimon still very underpowered, I spend the rest of the day training at the gym.
One other thing to note here is that Kabuterimon's role in the city is to upgrade gym equipment.
But we have to pay him to do this, so I didn't get anything upgraded yet!
Moving onto the next day, I get some more daily supplies, and head through server desert to get to logic volcano. (I avoid talking to Garudamon this time, obviously!)
The first digimon I meet here is a Gumdramon, who goes on to tell us about the volcano, and the digimon that live here.
Despite having a specific area to go to, I check out two other sides of logic volcano instead.
This ultimately proves to be a waste of time when my digimon nearly get knocked out by a Birdramon! (I'm surprised I was able to dodge all of the other Birdramon in the area!)
With no real progress made, aside from some battles, and talking to a few friendly digimon, I use an auto pilot to return to Floatia.
Upon returning to Floatia, I get another tamer level! (That seems to level up pretty quickly!)
After choosing another tamer skill (I pick the one that slowly recovers MP while walking), I buy some recovery discs from Tentomon, and spend the rest of the day training my digimon.
Starting another day, I get my daily supplies from Tanemon and Koromon, and then save the game.
